Video: How MSF partners with community groups in Ukraine

In Ukraine, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is working closely with dozens of volunteer networks, non-profit organizations, and civil society groups to help meet the needs of communities impacted by the war. These groups have provided the vast majority of humanitarian aid in Ukraine since the beginning of the conflict. "They have done the bulk of the work," says Javid Abdelmoneim, an MSF doctor in Kharkiv. "They have shown dedication and capacity in getting humanitarian aid to the Ukrainian people." MSF relies on local groups' distribution capacity and their knowledge of and connections with communities while the organization supports their efforts with resources and expertise.
